Objective:
The objective of this project was to design and illustrate a coffee bag for an imaginary coffee company. It needed to represent Stratford Ontario in some way and include the name of the coffee shop, the type of roast, “Premium Whole Bean Coffee” and have some sort of texture.
Process:
For this project, I wanted to do a style I don’t normally do. I love to create characters and make everything really happy looking. For this, I decided to try something different and do more of a lifestyle design. I began by coming up with some rough sketches and picking a concept that I felt represented the brand Sunday Bean. I then used Procreate to draw and add colour to my design. I wanted to add some texture, so I sourced a picture of some watercolour paper for the building and grass area. For the sky, I took a photograph of my lamp and experimented with different filters in Photoshop. In addition, I used Photoshop to experiment with different fonts for the name Sunday Bean and the other information.
